Chapter 364 - 363: If You Envy Me, Go Find One Yourself

Chapter 364 - 363: If You Envy Me, Go Find One Yourself

Bella was happily contemplating what she would do when she saw Damian later.

She definitely had to visit Aunt Sienna and Ethan at the welfare home first. And then what?

Should she stay at the welfare home to keep Aunt Sienna company, or should she and Damian go out for a meal, watch a movie, or something like that?

Had she ever gone to the movies with Damian before?

Like normal couples, buy a pair of tickets. Would they also need cola and popcorn?

Is there anything else they needed?

Bella furrowed her brows, recalling those dating tips she read online, without realizing when all the fruits were gone.

"Ms. Cheney, Bella, we’ve arrived." Shaw said, opening the passenger door to get out first.

Hearing the noise, Bella suddenly snapped awake, instinctively wiping her mouth and discovering a bit of moisture.

"Ah!" Bella exclaimed, standing up suddenly. "Bang!" Her head hit the car roof.

"Ouch." That was quite a bump. Bella held her head, her little face scrunched up like a steamed bun.

"Why so hasty, girl? Hurt, didn’t it?" Sharon pulled her hand, making her sit back down. "Let me have a look, see if it’s bruised."

Bella let go, pitifully saying, "Godmother, look here, surely there’s a big bump."

Sharon looked, relieved there was no cut, and then gently checked the spot her finger pointed to, indeed finding a hard bump.

Sharon helplessly said, "You’re always so careless. Hurts now, doesn’t it?"

Bella pitifully replied, "I was dozing off, worried the drool on my mouth would drip on you, reacted too strongly, and forgot I was still in the car."

Sharon shook her head, "Let’s go to the studio and apply some herbal oil to reduce the swelling more quickly."

"No herbal oil." Bella covered her head, "Godmother, that oil smells so strong. I have a date later."

"So you won’t reduce the swelling for the date?"

"It’s fine, it’s fine. It’ll go down on its own in a couple of days." Bella grinned, "Godmother, I suddenly remembered the first time we met, I slept leaning on you the whole way."

"Yes, I thought you were such a simple and adorable girl back then." Sharon chuckled. "Fate is indeed quite a fascinating thing."

"Exactly." Bella nodded in agreement. "When I first joined the crew, if not for your care and reminders, I might have suffered miserably under Farah Garner and Vivi. Godmother, I’m so lucky to have met you."

"Alright, alright, your words are sweet as honey. Ms. Flynn is still waiting for us, let’s go." Sharon smiled, tidying Bella’s sleep-mussed hair, her gaze soft and loving.

Bella cheerfully got out first, then held the car door open, using her hand as a buffer for her godmother.

"Sharon, you’ve raised a good goddaughter, so filial and considerate." Elaine Vaughn teased as she emerged from the studio with a smile.

"Jealous? You could find yourself a good one like our Bella too." Sharon laughed as she got out of the car, giving her friend a hug before teasing.

"Ah, such fate is rare indeed, I’d better let it go." Elaine feigned regret, then laughed, "Congratulations on wrapping up the new film. Sharon, you get to rest for a while, but Bella, you’ll be busy next!"
