Chapter 140 The New Universe
Chapter 140 The New Universe
In the city library
"Sigh... I found nothing except that religion still exists." Xinghe looked at the book in front of him and slumped back.
"I'm back~" the system's voice rang out.
"Hmm, did you find anything?" Xing asked.
"I didn't see anything about what happened in this world, and I have no way to forcefully break through the power of that star field god to see the problems of this world," the system replied.
"Fine, forget it then." Xing pouted, got up, put the book back in its place, and left the library.
"Wow~ It seems that because of the power of that star field god, I didn't even notice how many people were following you." The system suddenly said.
"Following?" Xing was taken aback for a moment, then quickly turned around, only to see several people hurriedly turning their heads away as if they didn't exist...
"Good heavens, they're religious people too." Xing's lips twitched as he looked at the group of people who were dressed in medieval religious attire, so out of place in this city.
"Religious stuff~ Don't worry about them. After all, this is a planet where a real god exists. These believers have the ability to know that you are an outsider or something, so it's not a big deal for them to send some people to keep an eye on you," the system said.
"Okay." Xing turned away and ignored the others.
"So, where in this world can I go, or is there anything I need to do?" Star Question System.
"I'm sorry, I discovered at the World Management Center that there was an error during your journey. This is not a universe you are required to go to, nor is it a universe recognized by the world's will," the system said.
"Heaven knows why you're here. I can take you away, but because of that god's power, I need an hour to break down the world barrier of this world."
"...Whatever, I really don't like this world. After all, I was hit in the face with bombs as soon as I arrived, although I also had the idea of deliberately courting death even though I wasn't going to die, so I took on who knows how many nuclear warheads," Xing said.
"Wait for me, I'll relocate the Sea of Nothingness in a few minutes," the system said.
"..." Xing waited for the system to end and continued to wander around this bustling city.
"That was tough. It's over now. Want to leave? I can directly affect the vision of ordinary people around you so you can open a portal." The system finally finished.
"Hmm~ Of course!" Xing responded, and then, with the help of the system, opened a dark teleportation channel. Just as she was about to go in, she suddenly turned around and looked at the Vatican personnel who looked obviously at a loss.
"Hey~ Say hello to your boss for me," Xing said with a grin, then stepped into the teleportation portal...
"Uh... how should we respond to His Holiness the Pope?" one of them asked, watching their departing target.
"Let's just answer directly, since they clearly knew we were there before they said that," another person replied.
"Well, that can only be done."
…………
In the endless sea of nothingness, within a field of order the size of a person, Xing slowly opened her eyes.
"Holy crap, where am I?!" Xing was startled when she saw the pitch-black space in front of her.
"In the Sea of Nothingness," the system responded.
“Void… alright.” Star General’s consciousness sank into his personal space, then pulled out a Xiling assault ship, boarded it, and activated the Order Field.
"I've made contact with the time travel space. Do you want to go back and start over?" the system asked.
"No need, I just randomly entered some void coordinates and found that there really is one in that universe. So, buckle up and let's go for it!" Xing grinned and floored the gas pedal. The Xiling assault ship roared towards the coordinates between the order fields of the newly discovered universe.
…………
Unknown Time - Unknown Universe
A flash of light suddenly appeared at the boundary of the universe, and then a spaceship entered this universe by diving.
"Wow~ I didn't expect it to be so fast." Xing said excitedly in the cockpit of the Xiling assault ship.
"Don't you even know which civilization's ship this is? The distance from your departure point to this universe isn't even enough for this Xiling assault ship to conduct a regular patrol," the system said.
"Yeah, let's not talk about that. Do you know what kind of universe this is?" Xing asked with a grin.
"Wait a minute, I'll go check out the World Management Center," the system said, and began connecting to the World Management Center of this universe...
One minute later, the system terminated the connection to the World Management Center and then transmitted the copied records to Xing's sea of consciousness in batches.
"Hmm... I don't feel anything special?" Xing searched through the documents for a long time but didn't find anything special.
"Alright, since you're still considered human, I can only say that there have been multiple instances of time travel and modifications in the Milky Way galaxy where humans were born in this universe," the system said.
"Uh... there are quite a few movies and anime like this, and without some on-site research, I really can't be sure what's going on in this universe." After listening to the system's words, Xing covered her face and said, looking at the data again and then bombarded with a bunch of technical terms, her face full of toothache.
"I've checked, and it seems that humanity in this world has explored almost the entire Milky Way galaxy. I've already located the Milky Way galaxy in this universe. Should we go take a look? Maybe we can discover which universe it is," the system said.
"Let's go check it out." Having received the coordinates from the system, Xing floored the accelerator once more, and the Xiling assault ship directly jumped towards the target coordinates...
…………
Milky Way's fourth spiral arm - unknown star system
"Whoosh!" The Xiling assault ship completed its jump and instantly appeared in this seemingly empty new star system.
"As expected of Xiling Technology, their speed is truly impressive," Xing remarked, looking at the destination they had arrived at.
"I compared the human factions in the anime and movies you've watched with the human factions in this galaxy, and found that none of them match," the system said.
"Isn't that great? I might be able to acquire new technologies that belong to humanity in this world," Xing said with a smile.
“That’s true, after all, your empire is still developing.” The system nodded in response.
"Then do you know what the situation is like for humans in this world?" Xing asked.
"Human technology in this world is quite advanced. The entire Milky Way galaxy is their territory, completely under their control. Moreover, humanity is continuously sending advance teams to surrounding star systems, seemingly planning to wage a multi-front war," the system said.
"The humans in this world are really full of martial spirit," Xing remarked, sensing the data transmitted by the system.
