The master is inhuman; he beat up his senior brother, destroyed the sect, and then left.

Chapter 10 My Master is a Devil

Chapter 10 My Master is a Devil

Xuan Kongzi wouldn't let him off easily. He picked him up like a chick, flew him high into the sky, and then threw him down without any mercy.

Han Yi turned pale with fright and screamed in terror, "Help!"

His body was flailing wildly in the air; if he fell from that height, he would surely be smashed into a pulp.

"You're so tough, aren't you? Why are you calling for help?" Xuan Kongzi stood on the cloud, his face full of disdain, showing no intention of helping.

He plummeted like a kite with a broken string, his heart pounding as if it were about to leap out of his throat.

Seeing that he was only a foot away from the ground, Xuan Kongzi used his magic to freeze him in mid-air.

Han Yi gasped for breath, his clothes soaked with cold sweat, his face filled with relief at surviving the ordeal. He secretly vowed to get back at Han Yi tenfold for the humiliation he had suffered today.

"Since you don't like simple cultivation methods, let's do something more exciting."

Han Yi had barely touched the ground and was still in shock when Xuan Kongzi took him to the mountainside of a cliff.

The cliff was steep and precipitous, towering into the clouds. Han Yi felt a chill run down his spine as he looked down, but Xuan Kongzi calmly cast a spell on him, and Han Yi immediately felt as if an invisible boulder was pressing down on his back.

“You now have two choices: climb to the top of the cliff or jump directly to the bottom,” Xuan Kongzi said, looking at him.

"Go to hell!" Han Yi couldn't help but curse, wanting to just lie there and give up, but found that he couldn't even sit down where he was.

"Then let's just wait it out! Don't worry, with your master here, I guarantee you won't die from the fall, but I can't guarantee you won't lose an arm or a leg." Xuan Kongzi wasn't in a hurry; he wanted to see who could outlast whom.

Han Yi lay on the rock, waiting to see what Xuan Kongzi would do. After a while, because he had been in the same position for so long, his whole body ached unbearably.

Left with no other choice, he had to cautiously begin climbing.

The cliff was covered with jagged rocks, some of which were so smooth that he couldn't grip them at all. He gripped the rocks tightly with both hands until his knuckles turned white, and he struggled to find a foothold with his feet, sweat pouring down his face.

After climbing for a while, I was exhausted and my arms were sore. Suddenly, my foot slipped and I fell rapidly.

His survival instinct drove him to frantically wave his arms, trying to grab onto something. Fortunately, he managed to grab onto a protruding rock, which helped him regain his balance.

"I almost lost my life!" He breathed a sigh of relief, trying to calm the fear in his heart.

Xuan Kongzi floated two zhang away and mocked, "Weren't you planning to throw caution to the wind? The heir of the Zhenbei Prince's Mansion is afraid of death? I thought you had already disregarded life and death."

He dared not be distracted now. He was still a quarter of the way up the cliff, with no way to retreat, so he had no choice but to grit his teeth and climb upwards.

At this moment, the fear of death dispelled his fatigue. He bit his lip, his eyes showing stubbornness. His hands and feet were cut by the rocks, and blood was flowing freely, but he ignored the pain and relied entirely on his willpower to support his exhausted body to continue upward.

Han Yi exerted all his strength, using both his hands and feet, and moved upwards little by little with great difficulty.

Each upward movement felt like it took all the strength in the body.

Finally, exhausted, he mustered all his strength and climbed to the top of the mountain.

Upon reaching the mountaintop, he collapsed to the ground, panting heavily like a broken puppet.

After a while, he miraculously stood up, staggered to the edge of the cliff, opened his arms, and the mountain wind made his hair dance wildly.

A triumphant smile spread across his face, and an unprecedented sense of accomplishment welled up within him.

He persevered through countless hardships and obstacles, and despite wanting to give up many times, he gritted his teeth and persevered.

At that moment, looking down at the sheer cliff, he was filled with boundless pride and shouted, "Old man, I will repay you tenfold for the suffering I've endured today!"

Unexpectedly, no sooner had he spoken than Xuan Kongzi kicked him off the cliff from behind.

"I think you've lost your mind, kid. You're not even carrying people anymore, are you?"

Not long after, Xuan Kongzi dragged him up to the top of the cliff again.

At this moment, Han Yi's entire body was bruised and battered, a bloody mess like a pile of mud, and he was barely clinging to life.

"Don't worry, with your master here, it's hard for you to die even if you want to. You'll definitely survive!" Xuan Kongzi calmly comforted Han Yi, whose bones were all broken.

Looking at the "devil" in front of him, he felt extremely wronged. He had been kicked off the cliff without a word and was even prevented from dying from the fall.

Then, Xuan Kongzi casually waved his hand, and Han Yi's broken bones and damaged tendons regenerated rapidly at a speed visible to the naked eye. However, the wounds all over his body remained gruesome and dripping with blood. Xuan Kongzi seemed to be doing this on purpose, ignoring these torn and bleeding wounds, showing no sign of using any healing magic.

Han Yi felt a surge of intense pain and tingling sensation wash over him like a tidal wave. His face contorted instantly, cold sweat poured down his forehead like beans, and his body trembled violently uncontrollably.

Every inch of his skin felt like it was being scorched by fire, or like it was being gnawed by thousands of ants; the pain that went deep into his bones nearly made him faint.

He gritted his teeth and forced out a few words: "You old bastard, you just wait..."

Xuan Kongzi's face darkened, and his voice turned cold and sharp: "Listen to me carefully, if you don't have the ability, don't spout nonsense. You can't just throw out threats like that. Your little skills are nothing in my eyes!"

Before he could finish speaking, he suddenly struck, gripping Han Yi's shoulder wound like an iron clamp. Han Yi felt a sharp pain instantly spread throughout his body, his vision went black, and he almost fainted.

Then Xuan Kongzi simply said, "Today's warm-up is over. We'll continue tomorrow."

He vanished in an instant, and Han Yi didn't even see how he left.

Han Yi weakly called out in the direction Xuan Kongzi had disappeared, "Take me with you!"

Only the wind answered him; Xuan Kongzi had long since vanished.

Han Yi lay on the ground, struggling to open his eyes and look at the sky. He felt extremely sad. He had never suffered more in his life than he had in the day and night he had climbed the mountain.

My whole body aches; there's not a single good spot. I'm covered in injuries.

He lay on the ground in despair, knowing that if things continued like this, the old man would eventually kill him.

His stomach was growling with hunger. He had only eaten half a steamed bun last night, and hadn't eaten a single thing today.

Exhausted, hungry, and in pain, he seemed to be barely clinging to life.

Han Yi thought to himself, "If only I had brought the remaining steamed buns with me last night. Even half a bun is a lifeline for me now."

"Junior brother!"

A call, like heavenly music, woke him from his painful nightmare. He turned his head with difficulty and saw the bright moon.

How did she end up on this cliff edge?

Mingyue was dressed in a light blue dress with a white ribbon tied around her waist, her graceful figure resembling a fairy descending to earth.

Her long, black hair cascaded down to her waist, and her face was beautiful. A gentle breeze stirred, and a few strands of her hair danced softly in the breeze.

She slowly approached, and seeing Han Yi's miserable state, her eyes were filled with pity and worry.

She quickly helped Han Yi up, put the food box aside, and went to check his injuries.

Han Yi ignored all of that and, enduring the excruciating pain, reached out to grab the food box.

He was starving, so he grabbed a steamed bun and stuffed it into his mouth.

The white steamed buns that he usually looked down upon have now become a delicacy. He eats them impatiently, one after another, his eyes fixed on the buns in his hands, his cheeks bulging, his face full of eagerness.

After finishing the steamed buns, he gulped down the water that Mingyue had brought, drinking until his belly was round and full.

Although the meal lacked fine wine and delicacies, it brought him immense satisfaction, as if all his pain had lessened. He contentedly squinted his eyes.

Mingyue looked at him with heartache and said softly, "Junior brother must have suffered a great deal today. Come, take off your shirt, let your senior sister take a look at you."

After saying that, he reached out to check the injury, his eyes full of concern.

Han Yi felt a warmth in his heart and did not resist. He thought to himself, "Let alone the examination, what's wrong with Mingyue offering herself to me for a night after her performance today?"

He lay helplessly on the ground, resigned to his fate.
