Chapter 33 Departure! The Movie Theater!

"Deoksun, Grandma's alright! Hehe~" Grandma patted Deoksun's hand, indicating that she didn't need to be supported anymore, as she was much stronger than she had been two years ago.

"Mom! Why didn't you say Grandma would be back tonight?" Deok-sun asked her mother excitedly, still helping her grandmother sit down.

She can stay in the hospital to recuperate, or she can go home to recuperate without any major problems. Your grandma has decided to come back. If it weren't so late, Grandma would have wanted to go back to the countryside."

After taking the bowl and chopsticks, Deok-sun ran to her grandmother's side and took her hand.

"Stay a few more days, Grandma!"

Before Deok-sun even entered the house, Yoo Seo-woo poked his head out from the balcony.

Grandma's been discharged from the hospital and wants you to come over for dinner!

After they turned away, Taek's smile vanished. Watching Deok-sun leave arm in arm with Yoo Seo-woo, he felt a strange sense of unease for some reason.

Aze turned around and closed the door without expression.

"Grandma! Shuyu is here!"

Deok-sun called out before Liu Shu-yu even entered the room.

"Oh! Shuyu! Come in, come in!" Paula's mother turned her head in the kitchen and saw Liu Shuyu coming in from the doorway.

"Oh dear, Auntie is going to make one last dish. Why don't you go inside and have a seat?" Paula's mom said with her signature squinty-eyed smile.

"Hello, Auntie!" Liu Shuyu bowed slightly in politeness.

"Shuyu is here!" Paula's dad poked his head out first, and when he saw Shuyu, he said in a funny but serious tone.

"Who is it? Oh, it's my son-in-law! Welcome to my humble abode!"

"Ah!!!" Deok-sun.

"Oh?" Paula.

"Big sister, is the son-in-law Dad mentioned your second sister or yours?" The young Yu Hui asked recklessly, clearly looking forward to Liu Shuyu becoming his brother-in-law, even believing his father's teasing.

"Do you want to die?" Paula flicked her forehead with the book.

"Ouch! Oh! I was wrong~~ I was wrong~" Yu Hui covered his head and hid to the side, constantly being hit by Paula.

"You silly boy! Shuyu, ignore him, he's acting crazy," Paula's mom said with a laugh.

"Hey! Why are you talking about me? Shuyu is my chosen son-in-law, right?" Paula's father said, winking at Liu Shuyu.

Liu Shuyu could only smile stiffly, because he could feel that Deok-sun's grip on his arm had left handprints.

Deok-sun was even more nervous than him...

"Shuyu, Deoksun, come to Grandma's," it was Grandma who spoke up at the crucial moment. Liu Shuyu and Deoksun readily went into the house and sat down on either side of Grandma.

"Hey~~" Just as Bora's dad was about to mutter something, he saw Grandma Deoksun looking over and immediately nodded and bowed with a big smile. He truly is a filial son.

"Korean police are so busy, why would they come to a small movie theater like this?" the dollfish said confidently.

"It's a pity Shuyu didn't come, hahaha, he missed it!" The salamander tilted its head back and let out an evil laugh in a childish manner.

"Where are you going? Back to evening self-study?" Sunwoo asked.

"Go find Shuyu or Aze."

"why?"

"I've borrowed 'The Sweet Love Story That Unfolds in the Mulberry Grove,'" said the dollfish calmly, uttering words that excited Jung-hwan.

Jung-hwan, who was standing helplessly with his arms crossed, glared at the crowd, gave them a thumbs-up, and then walked forward with a thumbs-up.

"Shuyu! Shuyu!"

Upon hearing the word "alcohol," Sunwoo looked at the two men, and the three remained silent.

The quiet Phoenix Hall Alley was filled with the chirping of insects and the sound of three people swallowing hard...
