Chapter 123 Adventure in Dragon Palace

"Welcome to the Dragon Palace!" the little dragon said excitedly, "We have to hurry and find the Dragon King. He is imprisoned in a magic cage in the deepest part of the Dragon Palace."

Led by Xiaolong, the team passed through one fantastic underwater tunnel after another and finally arrived in front of a magnificent palace. In front of the palace stood two giant shrimp soldiers holding spears. When they saw Xiaolong, they immediately blocked his way.

"Xiaolong, you shouldn't bring outsiders here!" one of the shrimp soldiers said sternly.

"But they are here to save the Dragon King!" Xiaolong argued.

The shrimp soldiers looked at each other and finally made way. Lily and her group quickly entered the palace, passed through the corridor that was shining with mysterious light, and came to a huge cage. In the cage, the Dragon King was trapped by magic chains and looked very weak.

"Your Majesty the Dragon King!" Xiaolong shouted with tears streaming down his face.

The Dragon King opened his eyes slightly, saw Lily and the team, and said weakly, "You are here, quickly untie these magic chains."

Lily looked around and found the key to the magic chain hanging in a magic circle on the wall. She took a step forward and tried to take the key, but was bounced back by a magic barrier.

"This magic barrier needs to be broken with wisdom," Lao Hu said, "We must find a way to break it."

Lily looked at the runes on the magic circle and an idea suddenly occurred to her: "These runes look like ancient riddles. Maybe we can solve them."

The team began to study the runes carefully, trying to crack them one by one. Finally, Mo Li had an idea and came up with an answer, and the barrier broke. Lily quickly took the key and unlocked the Dragon King's chains.

The Dragon King regained his strength and said gratefully, "Thank you, my brave friends. Now I can lead you to deal with the evil wizard."

At this moment, the wizard suddenly appeared, waving a lightning staff in his hand: "How dare you ruin my good deeds!"

A fierce battle ensued. The wizard's staff emitted lightning, striking Lily and her team, but the Dragon King spread his huge wings and blocked the attack. Mo Li and Lao Hu used their ingenuity to design a trap to lure the wizard into it.

"Now!" Lily shouted, swinging the sword in her hand, pointing it directly at the wizard's heart.

The wizard was hit, screamed, and disappeared in a cloud of smoke. The Dragon King looked at Lily gratefully: "You saved the Dragon Palace, I owe you a great favor."

"This is what we should do," Lily said with a smile, "But we still have to return to our own world."

The Dragon King nodded, flapped his wings, and a golden light enveloped Lily and her team. They felt a powerful force again and were instantly teleported back to the palace.

"Welcome back!" The emperor greeted them with a smile, "It seems you have had another wonderful adventure."

Lily smiled and said, "Yeah, it seems that no matter where we are, there are always new challenges waiting for us."

The team smiled at each other, their hearts filled with new hope and determination. They knew that although the road ahead was full of unknowns, as long as they were united, there would be no difficulties that could not be overcome.

At this time, Xiaolong poked his head out of Lily's arms and blinked his big eyes: "Princess, can I stay with you?"

Lily was stunned for a moment, then smiled and nodded: "Of course, we are very happy to have a new partner like you."
