Chapter 159: Encounter with the Fox Village

Lily and Mo Li looked at each other in the pavilion in the middle of the lake, and their silence was full of tacit understanding. At this moment, a purple light flashed on the lake. Lily widened her eyes and was about to ask, when ripples suddenly appeared on the lake surface, and a purple little fox jumped out of the water and jumped into Lily's arms.

"What is this?" Mo Li asked in surprise.

"It looks like a fox, but it's purple all over, which is not common." Lily held the little fox and felt its warmth and softness.

The little fox seemed to understand what Lily said. He raised his head and looked at her with his smart eyes. He actually said, "I am the guardian of the Fox Village. I need your help in an emergency!"

"Linghu Village?" Lily and Mo Li said in unison.

The little fox nodded: "Yes, Linghu Village is a mysterious village hidden in the mountains. There are many spiritual beasts living in the village that are isolated from the world. Recently, a group of evil forces invaded and tried to seize our power. Our village cannot fight them alone, so we need your help."

Lily and Mo Li looked at each other, knowing that this was another new adventure.

"Okay, we are willing to help you." Lily said.

The little fox immediately jumped out of his arms and turned into a ray of light, leading them into the depths of the forest.

They passed through dense jungles and winding mountain roads, and finally arrived at a quiet village. The buildings here were unique, surrounded by beautiful flowers and exotic trees, and the air was filled with a faint floral fragrance.

"Welcome to Linghu Village." An old man came out, with white hair but vigorous spirit. "I am the village chief of Linghu Village. Thank you for coming to help."

After Lily and Mo Li exchanged a few pleasantries, the village chief led them into the meeting hall. The hall was already filled with various spirit beasts, some as fierce as wild beasts, and some as graceful as cranes.

"These are our villagers," the village chief introduced. "The enemy we face is a group of dark wizards. They are trying to seize our power and open an evil portal to bring more disasters."

"Then how should we deal with it?" Mo Li asked.

"We need to find the village's ancient relic, the Holy Fox Pearl, which is said to be able to dispel all darkness," the village chief explained.

Lily nodded: "Okay, then let's go find the Holy Fox Pearl."

Led by the little fox, they entered the depths of the Fox Village. In a hidden cave, they found an ancient altar with a glittering bead on it.

"This is the Holy Fox Pearl." said the little fox.

Just as Lily was about to reach out to take the bead, suddenly, a shadow flashed by, and a dark wizard appeared, sneering and saying, "Do you think it's so easy to get the Holy Fox Bead?"

The dark wizard waved his hand and summoned a group of black shadows, which rushed towards Lily and Mo Li. Mo Li quickly drew his sword to meet the enemy, while Lily used her magic to protect herself and the little fox.

"We have to find a way to defeat him," Lily yelled.

"Use the power of the Holy Fox Pearl!" the little fox shouted.

Lily suddenly remembered what the village chief said, and quickly picked up the Holy Fox Pearl, feeling a strong energy surge into her body. She injected this energy into the staff in her hand, and swung it violently, sending out a beam of light, repelling the dark wizard and his shadow.

The dark wizard screamed and disappeared into the air as smoke. The sky over the village suddenly cleared up and the evil aura dissipated.

"We succeeded!" Mo Li said excitedly.

Lily smiled and handed the Holy Fox Pearl to the little fox: "This is the treasure of your village. Now it has returned to your hands intact."

The little fox took the beads and said gratefully: "Thank you, Linghu Village will always remember your kindness."

The village chief also came over and said respectfully: "Your bravery and kindness saved Linghu Village. We will always be your friends."

Lily and Mo Li left Linghu Village with the villagers' farewell, their hearts filled with satisfaction and joy. They knew that the journey ahead would still be full of challenges, but no matter what they faced, they would face it together and move forward courageously.
