Chapter 253 Lan Qingheng is rarely excited

Wei Wuxian arrived at the Orchid Room. He saw Lan Wangji still teaching, his posture as straight as a pine tree, his voice clear and steady. Wei Wuxian stood outside, waiting quietly.

His gaze fell on Lan Wangji through the window. He saw that Lan Wangji was serious and stern, but he exuded an irresistible charm.

Wei Wuxian gradually became stunned, as if everything around him disappeared, leaving only Lan Wangji's cold figure.

He watched Lan Wangji's every movement and every expression, fascinated. He recalled every little thing they had experienced together, the laughter and tears, the adventures and challenges.

Wei Wuxian's lips unconsciously lifted up into a gentle smile. He just stood there quietly, looking at Lan Wangji, as if time had stopped.

After an unknown amount of time, Lan Wangji's lecture finally ended. The students rose and left, while Lan Wangji sorted the books on the table. Wei Wuxian finally came to his senses, coughed softly, and walked into the orchid room.

Lan Wangji heard the voice, looked up, and saw Wei Wuxian, with a hint of surprise in his eyes.

"Wei Ying, why are you here?" Lan Wangji asked.

Wei WuXian chuckled and said, "Of course I'm here to see Second Brother Lan!"

Lan Wangji's ears flushed slightly. He turned his head away and said, "Boring."

Wei Wuxian, however, refused to give in. He walked over to Lan Wangji and said, "Lan Zhan, please don't be embarrassed."

Lan Wangji looked at Wei Wuxian helplessly and said, "Wei Ying."

Wei Wuxian's smile grew even brighter. He pulled Lan Wangji's arm and said, "Lan Zhan, stop messing around. Let me get down to business."

"I just received a message from Ayang. He said that my master and uncles will follow me out of the mountain in three days."

Lan Wangji was puzzled and asked, "Baoshan Sanren never leaves the mountain. No one knows her cultivation level. Why did she come out this time?"

Wei WuXian thought for a while and said, “It’s probably because of what happened between Junior Master and A-Yang. Think about it, A-Yang went back with Junior Master, and he even broke the rule of not being able to return after leaving the mountain for A-Yang. So… hey, Lan Zhan, don’t you think that’s the truth?”

Lan Wangji nodded thoughtfully and said, "You make sense."

Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji walked out of the Orchid Room, and Wei Wuxian said again: "Lan Zhan, I still think it's better to inform Mother about this matter. After all..."

"What are you going to tell me?" Long Xiyue's voice came from behind, interrupting Wei Wuxian's unfinished words.

Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji bowed and said, "Mother."

Wei Wuxian looked at Long Xiyue and said, "Mother, I just received a message from Ayang saying that Master and the others will be leaving the mountain with us in three days."

Long Xiyue was shocked for a moment, then calmed herself down and asked, "Are you sure my master will come with you?"

"That's what I heard from Ayang's voice transmission. It shouldn't be wrong." Wei Wuxian said.

"Then I'll go to Yiling to discuss this with my senior sister. We must treat our master well when he comes out of seclusion this time." Long Xiyue said excitedly and turned to leave.

Wei Wuxian quickly said, "Mother, Lan Zhan and I will be with you."

Long Xiyue stopped and said, "Then go tell Qingheng, pack up your things and leave together!"

Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji agreed and went to look for Lan Qingheng. When they found Lan Qingheng, Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji bowed and said, "Greetings, Father!"

Lan Qingheng asked, "What brings you two here together?"

Wei Wuxian said, "Father, Lan Zhan and I are planning to go to Yiling with Mother."

"Is there something you need to deal with?" Lan Qingheng asked doubtfully.

Wei WuXian smiled and said, “Ayang sent a message saying that my master and his uncles will be leaving the mountain in three days. We should go to Yiling to welcome them.”

"Are you talking about Baoshan Sanren?" Lan Qingheng asked excitedly.

Wei Wuxian had never seen Lan Qingheng so excited before, and was speechless for a moment.

Seeing this, Lan Wangji said, "Father, yes."

After the three chatted for a while, Qing Heng told them to be careful on the road. Then they hurried back to their room to pack their things.
